Raised in Seattle, I had the fortune of being immersed in a multi-cultural melting pot with families from around the world who now call the Pacific Northwest Home. My parents, coming from Europe & Africa, made the same journey.
Their journey started my path to entrepreneurship. Growing up, I participated in the hustle firsthand. Going to conferences to meet with customers, working with local election campaigns, painting and cleaning houses, doing landscaping and hauling junk, there was always an opportunity to help.
Fast forward, I had the privilege of attending the University of Pennsylvania (for undergrad and grad). During my masters, I started running to get out of the apartment, relieve stress, and get back in shape.
I’ve been running off and on since.
Towards the end of my masters, I set out on my own entrepreneurship journey, building out two organizations: Avian Dynamics and GLBL Foundation. The mission of both organizations at the core is to help people.
Out of the blue, at the start of 2025 my aunt passed away. Little after halfway through the year, I met someone who catalyzed and accelerated the way I’ve been thinking about life, growth and chance.
This year of stacked up chances has led me to this challenge, this adventure.
It marks a time for me to reflect, to slow down, to connect, to focus on self-improvement, and to move forward with further purpose.
I'm sharing this with you to:
Just like this challenge, any journey is filled with ups and downs. Mistakes, many mistakes, are made along the way. This will require preparation, grace, patience and a determined spirit.
The important part is the process, the experiences and the community along the way. With the goal to leave everyone we cross paths with better off.
If you see me out there running, feel free to join!
